Thank you for an inspiring night of Restoring HOPE
Thanks to all of you who gave over $100,000. What a way to restore HOPE for women living homeless in our community!
Your generous support will help homeless women like Blakely, Alydia and Bobbie, who through this 4 minute video share their personal journeys out of addiction and homelessness.
Blakely was in an abusive relationship, pregnant and high. She didn’t expect to live beyond age 21. “I was living in a car and he broke my nose. I knew I had to get help.” The KentHOPE staff “greeted me like I was worth something. They loved me no matter what…and I wanted to be just like that.” Her biggest transformation? “Learning how to handle things under pressure. I don’t have to get high and I can be a good mom.”
These are our people, our families, our children. This is our community. There are many other people living homeless and we cannot give up on them. Together, we will press ahead to restore HOPE by providing stable pathways out of homelessness while caring for the body, mind and spirit of our hurting neighbors.
