Every day, morning and evening, KentHOPE guests need to be transported between the KentHOPE Day Center and the Overnight Shelter. As a van driver, you have a tremendous opportunity to get to know our guests and build relationships with them. Additionally, you bless their lives simply by ensuring they do not have to walk long distances, sometimes in the dark or in harsh weather, to get to overnight shelter. New volunteer drivers are needed every morning from 6:30 am – 7:15 am, evenings from 8:30 pm – 9:15 pm. Drivers must be between the ages of 21-79 and confident driving a 12-passenger van (no special driver’s license needed).
