Central Avenue Mini Storage in Kent held their third annual garage sale on Saturday, August 8th, with proceeds going to KentHOPE.  There were 33 tables of goods for sale and proceeds from table rentals brought in $388.  Manager Bernadette Thormahlen chose to support KentHOPE this year because after seeing a facebook post, she and family and friends served lunch at the Day Center and then breakfast, and was touched by the guests she met. Two Men and a Truck donated hot dogs, which brought in $280.  KentHOPE staffed an information table and also received some donations.
