Thank you, KentHOPE, for all you are doing for the ladies at the KentHOPE Day Center. I have worked for over five years as a volunteer at Terrific Tuesdays, serving dinner each week to many who are homeless and/or struggling financially. Terrific Tuesdays has also been taking dinner once a week to the KentHOPE Day Center for over a year. For us and for many other programs like ours, the Day Center is a real Godsend! Finally we have a facility in Kent where women can go for meals, showers, rest and help. We no longer have to tell women there are no resources for them. Last month instead of telling the young woman looking for a place to shower that I didn’t know where she could go, I was able to take her to the Day Center where she was welcomed and offered assistance. You are doing wonderful work and changing lives. Many thanks for all you do.
